THE PLASTIC OF OUR LIVES
CO/FO presents The Plastic of our Lives, a photo series directed by Common Folk’s Tina Ziegler and photographer Danny Fernandez.
The photos in this collection are of various common people and the plastic trash they accumulate in just one week.
When plastic is displayed in this way, we can clearly see our personal influence on the plastic problem. We, the common folk, are responsible for how much plastic trash will eventually end up in landfill, a body of water, and in the wild. We understand that most of the plastic we throw away are from the products we really need, like plastic bottles used to contain water. We have the power to re-think what we buy and how we use plastic in our lives.
Please feel free to join in on this project and create your own photo by saving your plastic trash for 7 or 10 days. Send us a photo when you’re done and we’ll try to include you in The Plastic of our Lives.
